Anna Zornosa is a veteran leader in technology, including companies such as Yahoo!, Knight Ridder Digital and Cobalt Group. She’s served as an advisor to numerous startups, including Trulioo.com, Glam.com and Chloe & Isabel. But she’s never donned the official title of founder.
That is, until now.
Zornosa is founder and CEO of Ruby Ribbon, an early stage shapewear company (think comfortable camisoles, swimsuits, bras and the like) that is on a mission to dominate the women’s shapewear market. Ruby Ribbon officially launched in 2011, but Zornosa noticed several trends among women years before that: they were desperate for more work-life flexibility. They were overworked. And they were dressing differently—spandex; yoga pants; unrestricted shirts and supportive tank tops.
