DBL Partners provides reports to our Limited Partners and publications on industry issues for the impact investing community.
Impact Measurement
DBL Partners, and prior funds managed by DBL Investors, issues an annual Double Bottom Line Report for Limited Partners that reports on portfolio companies’ business and financial performance (First Bottom Line) as well as their social, environmental, and economic impacts (Second Bottom Line).
The most recent data for the reporting period ending December 31, 2020 showed that the DBL portfolio of companies (across all funds) employ 50,000+ individuals nationwide.
DBL Partners encourages its portfolio companies to site company headquarters or facilities in low- or moderate-income (LMI) areas or Enterprise Zones that positively impact the local tax base in areas that historically have lacked investment capital.
As of December 31, 2020, 61% of DBL’s Fund I portfolio companies have company headquarters and or facilities located in a low- or moderate-income area at the time of DBL’s initial investment. As of December 31, 2020, 61% of DBL’s Fund II portfolio companies have company headquarters and or facilities located in a low- or moderate-income area at the time of DBL’s initial investment. As of December 31, 2020, 50% of DBL’s Fund III portfolio companies have company headquarters and or facilities located in a low- or moderate-income area at the time of DBL’s initial investment.
