Paula Uniacke

Paula Uniacke is the Director of Impact at DBL Partners, which she joined in 2022. At DBL, she works closely with portfolio companies on impact measurement, policy engagement, communications, workforce development, and community partnerships—helping to scale solutions that create both strong financial returns and lasting social and environmental impact.

Previously, Paula was a Senior Program Officer at The Asia Foundation, where she partnered with nonprofits, tech companies, government agencies, and philanthropists to advance gender equality, social inclusion, and climate resilience across the Asia-Pacific region. Her work included leading multi-country initiatives on women’s climate resilience and access to green jobs, developing research on the future of work, and supporting disaster-ready infrastructure projects.

Earlier in her career, Paula worked with health, sanitation, and social equity nonprofits in India. She holds a BA in History from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and an MA in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley.
