eMe­ter pro­vides ener­gy effi­cien­cy soft­ware and inte­gra­tion ser­vices that allows util­i­ties to man­age and uti­lize the data col­lect­ed from auto­mat­ed util­i­ty meters. eMeter’s soft­ware plat­form enables appli­ca­tions such as enhanced billing, out­age restora­tion, load mon­i­tor­ing and demand response. eMe­ter’s soft­ware pro­vides util­i­ties with detailed dynam­ic elec­tric­i­ty usage infor­ma­tion which can be used to iden­ti­fy unac­count­able ener­gy use and loss­es, as well as to sup­port inno­v­a­tive pro­grams that reduce the need to build pow­er plants used for peak demand days only. In addi­tion to DBL Part­ners, investors include Foun­da­tion Cap­i­tal and Sequoia Capital.
