Investors from across the US have gathered in New York to discuss investing in sustainable development, as advocated by the United Nations. The agenda includes measures to fight global warming.
About 200 people attended the first-of-its-kind gathering at the UN headquarters on Thursday.
The organizers are the Wall Street Journal and a UN body.
The CEO of a Boston-based fund reported a boost in investment in companies that provide stable supplies of food and water and in firms involved in raising energy efficiency.
